I’m an Architect and Architectural Consultant working independently and collaboratively across the UK, Slovenia, or wherever good projects take me.

Previously working in various other collectives, I started my own projects in 2020 to challenge conventional models of Architectural work. What began as a freelancing gig on the side has since evolved into a more fluid, agile, and personal way of working.

I design Architecture that’s beautiful and rooted in human experience. For me, it’s about how people feel in the spaces created. Each project is a shared journey with clients, grounded in what truly matters to them. That’s where the real sustainability lies. From detailed designs for private homes to consulting support or immersive 3D visualizations for other studios, I bring cross-cultural experience and energy to every phase.

I'm a licensed Architect in both the UK and Slovenia/EU, a RIBA Chartered Architect, and an initiator & founding signatory of the Slovene Architects Declare Climate and Biodiversity Emergency. I’m also active in the Architects Climate Action Network.

The Raw Laboratory project involved transforming an existing retail space in the city center into a multifunctional branding laboratory, showroom, and social hub. The space was reimagined to include an exhibition area, office, and communal hangout, with a focus on maintaining the raw, structural essence of the building. The design seamlessly integrates with the urban surroundings, creating an immersive experience that fosters community engagement. By opening the space to the public, the project promotes transparency and interaction, embodying democratic design principles through its collaborative and inclusive approach.

This project involved the complete refurbishment of a detached building in North London. The existing internal layout was reimagined to create modern living spaces that incorporate beautifully crafted bespoke joinery. The design palette was carefully curated to be calm and collected, reflecting the client's lifestyle and preferences. The project emphasized both functionality and aesthetics, resulting in a serene and elegant environment tailored to the needs of contemporary living.

This complex small infill extension involved a complete structural and design refurb of the rear section of a terrace building, featuring a new rooflight-lit kitchen and dining area. Inspired by minimalist Japanese and Scandinavian design principles, the project combines functionality and aesthetics. The client has moved in, and final product photos are eagerly anticipated, showcasing the transformation achieved through meticulous planning and execution.

The interior design scheme reinvigorates the existing boxy floor plan by maximizing open space and exposing lintels. The kitchen, designed for indoor-outdoor living, features unbrushed inox for durability and upside-down concrete pebbled tiles for a cost-effective floor. An existing pillar is reimagined, transforming it into a central feature with a multi- purpose kitchen island/breakfast bar/butcher's block, clad in local brački kamen stone. Soft unlacquered cherry wall cladding from a cozy upper floor creates a striking contrast with the robust ground level, blending rustic and modern elements.

Inspired by Oton Jugovec, this competition proposal features a timber-built intermodal public transport and train station at the mouth of Triglav National Park in Slovenia. The design integrates sustainable materials and methods, emphasizing harmony with the natural surroundings. This design resulted in an innovative and environmentally conscious project that earned an honorable mention.

We proposed a drastic renovation of a bathroom in an early-2000's-built house, zoning the space with a vanity point on one side and a shower enclosure on the other. The off-white color scheme was vital, creating a calmer and brighter environment compared to the existing context. The design aimed to enhance functionality while introducing a contemporary aesthetic. The project emphasized simplicity and elegance, integrating modern fixtures and materials to achieve a refreshed and inviting space.

The project proposed an extension to an end-of-terrace house in South London, creating a new kitchen, dining area, and informal sitting area connected to the garden. Varied light conditions, including a fully glazed roof, a rooflight sliver, and a crittal style full-height door, define the atmospheres of each space. Bespoke joinery contrasts beautifully with earthy clay plaster, enhancing the overall aesthetic.

We designed a scenographic element for a contemporary dance performance, incorporating raw metal elements that are easily disassembled and moved. This design provides a versatile and contextual backdrop for the performance, enhancing the visual and functional aspects of the stage. The elements met both aesthetic and practical requirements, creating a dynamic and engaging environment for performers and audiences alike.

This semi-rural new-build forever home features a rational layout reminiscent of long barn structures. The main volume is surrounded by a generous awning, creating diverse atmospheres along the perimeter, including a greenhouse and orangery to the east. These features encourage self-sustainable living and give the project its name. The design blends functionality with a connection to nature, ensuring a comfortable and eco-friendly home.
